Voici les 5 Schools de Bogazici disponibles dans le cadre de l’échange, sous réserve de prendre minimum deux cours dans les domaines de Télécom Paris :

Courses from all faculties are open to exchange students; however, they need to take at least 2 courses in connection with the domains at Telecom Paris. If they want to take courses from another domain, they have to contact the professor in charge of the course to get his/her consent.

Durée de la mobilité : 1 semestre – 2 semestres

Nombre d’ECTS locaux rapportés à l’étudiant Télécomien par semestre équivalant à 30 ECTS par semestre requis par TP pour validation de l’OMI (obligation de mobilité internationale).

Boğaziçi University uses a credit-hour system. A typical course is

3 or 4 Bogazici credits (5-7 ECTS) with at least 3 contact hours per week. The ECTS credits of courses can be found in the Course Catalogue.

Credits per semester for full-time student: 4 - 6 courses, equaling 15- 24 Bogazici credits (approximately 20-30 ECTS).

Minimum and maximum number of credits that can be taken by Incoming Exchange Students : Erasmus and Exchange students are expected to take 4 - 6 courses, equaling 17- 21 Bogazici credits (approximately 20-30 ECTS).

Language requirements for all incoming students:

Non-native speakers of English must provide proof of proficiency in the English Language by means of TOEFL,

IETLS, or a letter from your home university certifying B2 or higher level of proficiency. Minimum scores required:

TOEFL: 550 + TWE 4.5 for the paper-based test; 213+ TWE 4.5 for the computer-based test; 79 + TWE 24 for the

Internet-based test

NB : Lettre d’engagement à fournir à la DRI pour les formations les plus plébiscitées

Deadlines de nomination de la DRI de TP :

• 1er mai pour fall semester et année académique
• 1er octobre pour spring semester

Deadlines de candidatures des élèves :

• 15 mai pour fall semester et année académique
• 15 octobre pour spring semester

En complément, si nomination par TP, il convient de préparer les documents suivants en amont de la candidature.

• Original copy of the transcript in English
• Course list: Erasmus students must take a minimum of two courses from the host department, Exchange students a minimum of one. Please note that the course list during application is provisional. The actual courses will be chosen during the course registration at the beginning of the semester.
• Statement of Purpose
• Letter of Recommendation from a faculty member (in English or Turkish)

Informations pratiques – logement

On-campus

For 2024-25 AY, we are not sure whether we can offer on-campus accommodation for the reason that some dormitory buildings are still undergoing renovation following the earthquakes in February 2023 in the southeast

of Türkiye.

Off-campus

Rental units near the University as well as in other areas of the city are available. No assistance is

provided by the International Office in securing housing.
